Deafblind Awareness Week

Deafblind Awareness Week is a provincially recognized week in support of all individuals with deafblindness. Every June 21 to 27, events and celebrations occur to recognize the successes and challenges faced everyday throughout the province by individuals who are deafblind. The week culminates on June 27, honouring the birthday of Helen Keller.

The CDBRA-BC was honoured to once again be involved in the promotion and coordination of Deafblind Awareness Week in BC.

This year, in partnership with the Deafblind Services Society of BC and with the help of our generous sponsors, we are proud to present our first province wide poster campaign promoting Deafblind Awareness Week.

The poster was designed by Cameron Cronin and can be viewed here (insert pdf of poster).

For more information on activities held surrounding Deafblind Awareness Week, please check out the website, which was designed by Martin Lowe at Lowe & Associates, at www.deafblindawareness.org.
