The Equipment Fund can be used by any deafblind member of the BC Chapter, regardless of age, geographic location or level of need. The Fund has been established to assist deafblind individuals with the purchase of specialized items such as hearing aids, splints, wheelchair parts, repairs, instruments and any other items that are of a therapeutic, educational or personal nature.
Since its inception in 2001, the Fund has paid for all or part of such items as musical instruments, bikes, hearing aids, glasses, laminating equipment, computers.
